HP launches the TouchSmart 610 all-in-one touchscreen desktop PC for consumers. The PC features a 23-inch HD display that reclines up to 60 degrees and tilts forward up to five degrees allowing users to find the best angle for comfort viewing. The display supports multitouch gestures such as pink, rotate, arc, flock as well as press and drag.
THe TouchSmart 610 series is available in 610z and 610xt models. The 610z models are powered by AMD’s Athlon aor Phenom processors, up to 10GB of RAM wile the 610xt sports Intel Core i5 or i7 CPU and up to 12GB of memory. They also get choices of ATI Radeon or NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards. The TouchSmart 610 also gets up to 2TB hard drive, DVD SuperMulti burner, 6-in-1 card reader, and supports WiFi and optional Bluetooth connectivity, TV Tuner is available as option.
HP’s TouchSmart 610 also features Beats Audio technology for enhanced audio performance, and the new HP LinkUp application, which allows users to wirelessly link a notebook PC to the TouchSmart using a home network. These all-in-one PCs will also come with touch-optimized applications from Hulu, Netflix, Rhapsody and Twitter, as well as HP’s exclusive RecipeBox and webcam applications.
The 610z starts at $949.99 and the 610xt at $1099.99.
