Barco announced its new DP2K-P digital cinema projector designed for the needs of the post-production industry. The new projector is equipped with TI’s 1.2-inch Advanced DLP Cinema chip with built-in 3D look-up tablet, offering 2048×1080 native resolution. It features 5400 lumens brightness and 2500:1 contrast ratio, and an extra wide color gamut that is significantly wider than what is currently recommended in the DCI specifications.
The Barco DP2K-P has two SMPTE 292M inputs and two DVI inputs and there are also Ethernet and RS232 ports.
