AIS (American Industrial Systems) introduces its new S-series of fully rugged stainless steel HMI touch panel PCs for superior performance in wet, dusty, rugged, and humid environments. Available in 15-inch (FIP15IA3S-C3), 17-inch (FIP17IA3S-M1) and 19-inch (FIP19IA3S-M1) models, AIS’s new touch panel PCs have flat sealed stainless steel enclosure with all-around IP65 protection. They make of EN 1.4301, DIN X5CrNi, SAE 304 and UNS S30400 stainless steel and food-safe seals.
AIS S-series is powered by Intel’s Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, up to 2GB DDR2 memory and integrated graphics. They have two SATA II connectors and one 44-pin IDE connector. These touch panel PCs has an ultra slim, light, fanless and vibration-resistant design. They include communication ports supporting RS232, RS485 and Ethernet connectivity to Modbus or Modbus/TCP. VESA standard mounting holes are available on every unit for easy deployment into any installation.
