Samsung is going to release in Middle East the Galaxy SL GT-i9003, another variation of the company’s flagship Galaxy S smartphone. The Galaxy SL uses 4-inch SUPER CLEAR LCD 800×480 display instead of AMOLED screen, and is powered by 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 processor instead of Samsung’s own Hummingbird.
Other features are same as the Galaxy S, including a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, FM tuner, 16GB internal memory and a microSD card slot. However, Samsung did not bring the new Android 2.3 to the Galaxy SL.
