Active Media Products introduces its new SATA DOM Flash Disk on Module based on MLC NAND Flash. Available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, the new Flash DOM uses SATA II interface. There are five different types of SATA DOMs, including vertical and low-profile, 7-pin and 22-pin, and offset right and offset left models to fit in virtually any enclosure.
The 7-pin Type 1 and Type 2 and 22-pin Type 3 offer up to 100MB/s read and 42MB/s write speeds, while the low-profile 7-pin Type 4 and Type 5 provides 90MB/s read and 50MB/s write speeds.
