AT&T is going to release he new HTC Freestyle, a new BrewMP-based semi-smartphone following HTC’s Smart. Based on Brew MP OS, the Freestyle will include the HTC Sense-like UI. Compare to the Smart, the Freestyle has some great improvements including a 3.2-inch capacitive (instead of resistive) touchscreen and a 3.2 Megapixel camera as well as a new UI.
The HTC Freestyle is powered by Qualcomm’s MSM7225 528MHz processor, 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. It supports Bluetooth, quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA networks. Still, it lacks WiFi connectivity, just like the Smart.
