Lite-On announced a new external slim DVD burner, the eNAU608 that lets users personalize their drive and disc. The drive comes with decorative interchangeable top cover inserts for users to personalize the drive and users can also create their own inserts by simply adding their favorite pictures or patterns to the cover. The writer also features both LabelTag and LightScribe direct disc labeling technologies for their DVD or CDs.
Lite-On eNAU608 burns DVD+/-R at up to 8X and CD-R/RW at up to 24X. It also write to DVD+/-RW, DVD+/-R DL and DVD-RAM, and features SMART-BURN for buffer under-run protection and SMART-X function that adjusts CD-DA / VCD / DVD data extraction to a fastest allowable speed. It has 2MB buffer memory.
