Kaleidescape announced its new Cinema One, an out-of-the-box DVD movie server designed to provide hassle-free, instant viewing and management of an entire movie collection. The Cinema One sports four 500GB drives that can store up to 225 DVDs or 2500 CDs for instant playback and viewing.
The Cinema One as easily as an ordinary DVD player and includes a Child Remote for Kids to activate the simplified user interface. It is based on and replaces the Kaleidescape Mini System. The server supports 1080p60/50 video mode and provides HDMI output.
Kaleidescape sells the Cinema One at $4995.
