Nexaira launches its BC2 Business Class II 3G/4G wireless broadband router that converts 2G, 3G and even 4G cellular signals into WiFi for compatible devices such as smartphones and laptops. Not only does it support USB and ExpressCard 3G/4G modems, the Nexaira BC2 also supports iPhone tethering, capable of creating a secure WiFi hotspot using the 3G connection from a connected iPhone.
The Nexaira BC2 works with iPhone 3G/3GS and iPhone 4. It will charge your iPhone while it is plugged in. Once tethering is enabled, connect your iPhone 3G, 3GS or iPhone 4 to the Nexaira BC2 Router via your iPhone USB cable and within a few seconds, your iPhone will indicate that it is in “Internet Tethering” mode. The BC2 router then serves as a WiFi hotspot that multiple WiFi-capable devices like the iPod Touch, iPad, laptop, and more can use to connect to the internet; ethernet devices can also connect via the router’s LAN port
The Nexaira BC2 is available for $179.99.
