QNAP launches a new line of affordable Turbo NAS servers for home and SOHO networks, the single-drive TS-119P+, dual-drive TS-219P+ and the 4-drive TS-419P+. They are boosted by Marvell’s 1.6Ghz embedded processor and 512MB of DDR3 memory.
These Turbo NAS servers have hotswappable drive bays supporting 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA II hard drive with up to 2TB capacity. The TS-219P+ supports RAID 0/1, and the TS-419P+ supports RAID 0/1/5/6/5+hot spare with online RAID capacity expansion and online RAID level migration. The TS-419P+ has two Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports while the other two models have one. All three servers have built-in UPnP media server (TwonkyMedia) feature supporting numerous media players such as the Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming consoles, and HD media players . Users can even use their iPod/iPad/iPhone or Android devices to stream music and video or view digital photos stored on the NAS from anywhere they have a Wi-Fi or 3G connection.
QNAP’s QNAP TS-119P+, TS-219P+ and TS-419P+ include built-in iSCSI target service, virtual disk drive (VDD) by built-in iSCSI initiator for storage expansion, and support exclusive Q-RAID 1 advanced data backup function.
