Xtream combines a HD media player and a dock for iDevices, creating the new iXtreamer hybrid media player. Not only serves as a HD media player/streamer, the iXtreamer features an Apple dock for use with iPad, all iPhone models and most iPod models, for media playback and charging.
The iXtreamer is equipped with a 3.5-inch SATA hard drive with up to 3TB capacity and there are two USB ports for external storage. It has an Ethernet port for streaming content from online services such as YouTube, BBC Podcast, Picasa, CNN, Yahoo Video, Yahoo! News..etc. Users can also add WiFi connectivity with optional USB WiFi adapter. The Hybrid Media player supports most video and audio formats including MPEG4, FLV, H.264, DTS, FLAC, OGG..etc.
The iXtreamer Hybrid Media Player provides HDMI 1.3a with up to 1080p output, as well as composite, component, analog audio and S/PDIF optical audio outputs. It starts at Euro 174.
