Of course, eSATA and FireWire 800 connectors are still there to to ensure you’ll have a high-performance connection for virtually any system.
The 5-bay Drobo S can accomodate up to five 3.5-inch SATA I/II hard drives. The system supports BeyondRAID technology, which enables greater ease-of-use, data safety, affordability, and expandability, and the self-healing technology that examine the blocks and sectors on every drive to make sure your data is safe. It also include dual-drive redundancy option to protect your data from failure of up to two hard drives.
The Drobo S starts at $799 and costs $1,799 for a 10TB bundle.
