HP introduces two new low-cost, easy-to-use digital signage computers, the SignagePlayer mp8000s and SignagePlayer mp8000r, designed for independent retailers, and other small to mid-size businesses that want to deploy full-featured digital signage at a single location or across a small network.
The mp8000s supports content up to 720p in a small device design that can be mounted behind the display while the mp8000r features NVIDIA discrete graphics for the 1080p content. They are pre-installed with Scala QuickStart software, which allows a user to be up and running in minutes and offers simple visual interface for creating, managing and scheduling information on the HP SignagePlayer.
The HP SignagePlayer mp8000s is priced at $1119 while the mp8000r costs $1079.
