Aperion Audio introduces the new Aperion Zona Wireless Surround System. The system includes a compact wireless transmitter and two powered bookshelf speakers with tuned ports and built-in receivers. Thanks to its wireless capability, speaker placement is now easier and users simply don’t need to be frustrated by wires.
The Zona is easy to setup, simply connect the transmitter to pre-out jack of of an AVR or DVD player and the speakers into a power outlet, the system will automatically link up. Zona’s wireless technology automatically identifies and avoids other 2.4 GHz signals that could otherwise cause interference; and offers a wireless range up to 150 feet, and a low latency of the signal (less than 20ms) to deliver uncompressed 16 bit/48 kHz CD-quality audio.
The Zona speakers feature 2 x 20W output, 2-way design in solid MDF cabinet with tuned port, Class D Amplifier with DSP , 1-inch soft dome silk tweeter, 4.5-inch woven fiberglass woofer. The Zone wireless speaker system is priced at $499.
