Nikon launches its NF-300i 3D digital photo frame for its new “my Picturetown 3D” service that converts 2D images to 3D. The service is for users to store and share digital images and convert 2D images to 3D, which can then be streamed to the NF-300i 3D digital frame.
The Nikon NF-300i has a 7.2-inch LCD display with lenticular lenses for 3D display. It can show 2D and 3D images in 800×600 resolution. With built-in Ethernet LAN and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity, the frame can download 2D/3D images from the my Picturetown 3D service. The frame runs Android 2.1.
The NF-300i 3D frame is part of the my Picturetown 3D service and will not be sold separately, while the service itself costs 1995 Yen per month or 19,950 Yen per year.
