Western Digital introduces its new WD TV Live Hub HD media center with built-in 1TB hard drive. The player is capable of Full HD playback and offers HDMI 1.4 output. It supports most media formats including MKV, MP4, MOV. Other than playback from internal hard drive, with Ethernet LAN port the WD TV Live Hub also connects to online video streaming services such as Blockbuster On Demand and Netflix, as well as offers access to internet content such as YouTube video, facebook, flickr, Pandora, weather info, daily video podcasts from CNN, NBC, MTV, ESPN and others.
WD’s new media hub is WiFi ready that users can simply add an USB WiFi adapter for WiFi connectivity. There are two USB ports that allow seamless media playback from USB drives, camcorders and digital cameras. In addition to HDMI 1.4, the TV Live Hub also offers component, composite and SPDIF outputs.
