Xerox announced ColorQube 8570 and ColorQube 8870 solid ink color printers that are affordable for businesses of all sizes. These printers utilizes Xerox’s solid ink technology, using solid sticks (or blocks) of no-mess, non-toxic ink instead of toner or inkjet cartridges.
The ColorQube 8570 and 8870 feature print speeds as fast as 40 pages per minute in both color and black and white, and Color by Words, a color-editing tool that allows for accurate and vibrant colors on the first print. They offer crisp text and sharp color images with Adobe Postscript3 and PANTONE color-approved simulations and high-quality color prints with advanced color matching capabilities and 2400 FinePoint image quality.
Starting at just $699, the ColorQube 8570 has 85,000 images/month duty cycle and optional two-sided output. The $2,499 ColorQube 8870, on the other hand offers 120,000 images/month duty cycle and comes standard with two-sided output.
