Motorola brings another QWERTY Android smartphone, the FLIPSIDE MB508 that will be released by AT&T. Like the Milestone/Droid and Droid 2, the new phone has a side-slide QWERTY keyboard. It also includes laptop-like trackpad that provides an alternative way to navigate with one hand while keeping your fingers off the screen. The handset also features CrystalTalk PLUS with a second microphone for enhanced voice quality.
The FLIPSIDE is boosted by TI OMAP3410 720MHz processor, 512MB RAM and PowerVR SGX 530 graphics. It has 512MB Rom and comes with a 2GB microSD memory card. The FLIPSIDE has a 3.1-inch 320×480 HVGA capacitive touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi , FM tuner, AGPS/GPS support and eCompass. The phone supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band 850/1900 WCDMA/HSPA networks.
