Sprint and Smasung officially announced the new Samsung Transform QWERTY Android smartphone. It is one of the first Sprint Android phone to include the Sprint ID, a user-friendly for users to personalize their phone and get applications, widgets, ringtones and more all at once, in a single download.
The Samsung Transform is like a smaller version of the Epic 4G. It sports a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, a front camera for video call, GPS for turn-by-turn directions, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The phone is powered by a 800MHz processor, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. It supports microSD/SDHC memory card.
The Samsung Transform is priced at $149.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $100 mail-in-rebate.
