WD introduces its new My Passport Essential, My Passport Essential SE and My Book Essential external hard drives that feature the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface. Also, the My Book Essential is now available in 3TB capacity.
The My Passport Essential is WD’s smallest portable hard drive with 500GB hard drive while the My Passport Essential SE comes in 750GB and 1TB. The My Book Essential, on the other hand, is an external hard drive for your desktop. It has capacity ranging from 1 TB to 3TB.
All these hard drive are equipped with WD SmartWare visual backup software for automatic, continuous backup. My Passport Essential portable is priced at $99.99 and the My Passport Essential SE drives range from $129.99 to $169.99. The My Book Essential drives range from $129.99 to $249.99.
