Virgin Mobile USA, Sprint’s pre-paid brand, brings the Samsung Intercept Android handset to its affordable, no-contract lineup of handset and service offerings. Like Sprint’s Intercept, the phone features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2 Megapixel touchscreen, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with video recording, GPS support, Bluetooth and WiFi.
The Samsung Intercept runs Android with full integration of Google Apps, such as Google Maps, Google Talk, Gmail and Google Navigation. The phone also comes with the Virgin Mobile Live app for access Virgin Mobile’s branded music stream.
Virgin Mobile sells the Samsung Intercept for $249.99.
