Panasonic announced the MW-20 digital photo frame that doubes as a speaker system for iPod and iPhone using the included cradle. The slim MW-20 is a multimedia system with a 9-inch LCD screen for showing video and photos, and a 5.6-mm Super Slim Semi Dome Speaker below the screen. There are also a diffuser that optimizes the sound and built-in DSP (Digital Signal Processor) adjusts the audio signal to suit the audio characteristics of this speaker system. The frame can display photos and supports video playback.
The Panasonic MW-20 has 2GB internal memory and supports SD memory card. It features the LUMIX Scene Mode Playback function, which enables users to play back selected groups of photos shot with a Panasonic LUMIX digital camera using the iA Intelligent Scene Selector mod. It has 15 different display patterns to show a calendar, clock, photo – whichever combination the user prefers. With the included iPod/iPhone dock, the MW-20 can display pictures and play music from docked iPod/iPhone. It also charges the docked device.
The Panasonic MW-20 will be released in late November for $249.95.
