Stealth launches its new SR-1600 high performance 1U rack server engineered for demanding HPC (High Performance Computer) workloads. It is a dual node server, which means there are two systems (nodes) in a single 1U chassis. The SR-1600 is powered by four Intel Xeon 5550 or 5600 series processor (two per node) and up to 288GB (144GB per node) of Registered ECC DDR3 memory.
Each node in the SR-1600 1U rack server has two 2.5-inch swappable SATA hard drives/SSDs, dual Gigabit LAN, VGA output, HD-15 interface, RS-232 communication port and two USB 2.0 ports. There are also PCIe 2.0 x8 expansion slot for each node. The server packs an energy efficient 1100 Watt (80 plus) power supply that can be removed and replaced in seconds.
