Sanyo announced in the US the new PLC-HF10000L (aka PLV-HF10000L, LP-HF10000L), the world’s first QuaDrive projector with cinema required Real 2K 2048 x 1080 resolution. With Sanyo’s QuaDrive technology and Real 2K resolution, the 3LCD-based PLC-HF10000L projector offers 10,000 ANSI lumens brightness with dual high-output lamps, and 3000:1 contrast ratio with Sanyo’s Durable Inorganic Optical System (D.I.O.S.).
Sanyo’s exclusive QuaDrive engine adds a yellow color control device to the red, green and blue elements of the projector’s 3LCD system. By automatically controlling the amount of yellow light in the image, it improves color accuracy, produces a wider color gamut and enables higher brightness levels. Like other Sanyo projectors, the HF10000L includes the Active Maintenance Filter (AMF) system for long-term reliability and to reduce maintenance costs.
The Sanyo PLC-HF10000L has built-in LAN networking port. It offers HDMI 1.3, DVI-D, D-sub, BNC for RGBHV and CV/Y-Pb/Cb-Pr/Cr; and S-Video inputs, with optional boards available for HD/SD-SDI and Dual Link SDI. This QuadDrive Real 2K projectoe will be released in November for $34,995.
