Japanese firm Taxan is launching the Meopad T740 7-inch MID that runs Windows CE 6.0 OS. The device is powered by NVIDIA APX2600 Tegra 600MHz processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal flash memory.
The Meopad has a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen display. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g and offers a microSD/SDHC memory card slot. The MID supports playback of MP3, AAC audio, WMV, AVI, MOV, H.264 MP4 as well as JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF and TXT, PDF, MS Office files.
Taxan Meopad T740 will be released in late October for 40,000 Yen.
