Christie announced two new digital projectors, the DHD670-E and DWU670-E, both come from the new E-series, which “brings stellar performance and value to the fixed installation market.”
Both DHD670-E and DWU670-E use 1-chip DLP technology and offer 6,000 lumens brightness and 5000:1 contrast ratio. The former offers 1920×1080 Full HD resolution while the latter provides 1920×1200 WUXGA resolution. They have dual mercury lamps and each has the unique capability to optimize its lamp configuration for maximum single lamp operation. The DHD670-E also utilizes a high brightness six-segment color wheel (RGBCYW) with an optional rich color wheel (RCGCYM) available when color precision is crucial.
Christie DHD670-E and DWU670-E haev two HDMI 1.3 inputs as well as S-video, component, composite inputs. There are also RS232 port, RJ45 Ethernet port, and USB port for software upgrades.
