Verizon releases the Samsung Fascinate, the forth Galaxy S smartphone for the US market following Captivate, Vibrant and Epic 4G. The phone is available for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. Just like other Samsung Galaxy S phones, the Fascinate is boosted by a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor and runs Android 2.1 OS with TouchWiz UI.
The Samsung Fascinate has a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and a microSD card slot. A 16GB memory card is included. The smartphone has 512MB RAM. It offers micro USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
