Samsung announced the 30-series and the 90-series multi-functional LCD monitors with built-in HDTV tuner, offering consumers a computer monitor and HDTV in one. These monitors are available in screen sizes ranging from 21.5-inch to 24-inch, and the 90-series features LED-backlight.
Both 30-series and 90-series feature Full HD 1920×1080 resolution, 5ms response time, Dolby Digital Plus sound with 5W built-in stereo speakers and HDMI connectivity. They offer 70,000:1 and 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio respectively.
One model in the 90-series LED is available, the 24-inch FX2490HD priced at $419.99. The 30-series offers three screen sizes, the 21.5-inch B2230HD, 23-inch B2330HD and the 24-inch B2430HD, with prices ranging from $269.99 to $329.99.
