Microsoft introduces the Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 Studio Series with six designs, Pirouette Downtown, Crania, Botanic, Cosmic and Micro. These new patterns were inspired by the places that people will use them – around the house, at a coffee shop, on a park bench – so they fit in with these environments and become a little piece of everyday art.
The Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 uses the BlueTrack technology and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity. It comes with a plug-and-go nano transceiver and has four customizable buttons. The mouse offers up to 10 months of battery life. Patterns Micro, Botanic and Cosmic are available exclusive to Best Buy and Best Buy.com, and patterns Downtown, Crania and Pirouette will be available at other retailers in-store and online in September for $39.95.
Microsoft has also partnered with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to create the Special Edition pink mouse. 10% of the selling price ($4) – with a minimum donation of $200,000 – will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world’s largest and most progressive grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives and end breast cancer forever.
