Verizon Wireless releases the Samsung Gusto SCH-U360, a clamshell mobile phone with a slim form factor. The new Samsung phone sports a 2-inch internal screen, a VGA camera with night shot, Bluetooth and Dynamic Voice Enhancement technology with noise suppression technology to reduce background noise level. It is also VZ Navigator capable receiving audible turn-by-turn directions to more than 15 million points of interest.
Samsung Gusto includes Driving Mode that changes the handset volume automatically to high, overrides vibrate settings, and reads contact information aloud when a call or message is received. It also features Fake Call function, voice commands, personal organizer and tools.
Samsung’s new clamshell is available at verizonwireless.com for free after an online discount with a new two-year contract, or in Verizon stores for $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.
