Control4 announced its InfinityEdge in-wall touchscreens which are available in 5-inch and 7-inch sizes. These low-profile display features edge-to-edge capacitive glass and intercom capability, which can be enabled through the purchase of a $499 license. The InfinityEdge screens come with a choice of wired or WiFi connectivity options.
The InfinityEdge touchscreens have a new Flash-based UI and the ability to access and extend Control4 system capabilities with apps from the 4Store Application Marketplace. They can be powered by AC power or Power over Ethernet (PoE). The 5-inch InfinityEdge is priced at $599 while the 7-inch model costs $899.
