MSI launches its Wind Top AE2280 all-in-one desktop PC, which was first shown during the CeBit 2010. This newest Wind Top features the Hollywood-standard THX TruStudio Pro audio capabilities and 2x5w speaker for “a rich theater-like experience with advanced surround sound capabilities and rich, subwoofer-powered bass frequencies”.
The MSI AE2280 is boosted by Intel Core i3/i5 processor and ATI HD graphics and gets a 21.5-inch 1920×1080 Full HD multitouch touchscreen delivering a new levels of video and graphics clarity, detail and performance for watching movies and playing 3D/HD games.
Two models are available in the US, the AE2280-008US with Core i5-650 3.2GHz processor and 1GB ATI Radeon HD5730 graphics and the AE2280-009US sporting Core-520 2.93GHz processor and 512MB Radeon HD5430 graphics. Both of them pack 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 640GB hard drive, tray-load DVD SuperMulti burner, and 6-in-1 card reader. They support WIFi 802.11b/g/n and offers 1.3 Megapixel webcam, HDMI port.
The MSI Wind Top AE2280-008US is available for $1049.99 and AE2280-009US for $949.99. Both models come with wireless multimedia keyboard and mouse.
