AT&T is launching two new Samsung quick messaging mobile phones, the Eternity II (SGH-a597) and the Flight II (SGH-A927), both offer users a suite of messaging options at a great value, replacing the original Eternity and Flight.

The Samsung Eternity II is a touchscreen phone with support fot AT&T Mobile TV allowing users to enjoy around-the-clock access to full-length live, simulcast and time-shifted programming from FLO TV. It has a 3-inch touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth 2.1, Enhanced GPS functionality such as fitness tracking, Smart Gesture and a microSD card slot. The phone also offers AT&T Social Net service for accessing social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Myspace.

On the other hand, the Samsung Flight II is a touchscreen phone with a full, horizontal slide-out QWERTY keyboard that is ideal for sending text messages, instant messages, e-mail or updating your status on social networking sites. The phone comes with a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth and expandable memory up to 16GB.

Both Eternity II and Flight II support tri-band 3G and quad-band GSM networks. The former will be available on 15 August while the latter is available exclusively at Radio Shack.
