Seagate adds to its flexible GoFlex hard drive line the new GoFlex Home network storage system. The new NAS system is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities and works with both Windows PC and Mac OS X computers. The systems comes in two parts, a hard drive and a dock with Ethernet port and USB port.
Simply connect the GoFlex Home to your home network via wireless router or modem, computers on the same home network and then wirelessly access and backup files on the drive. It is compatible with Apple Time Machine for easy backup as well. The GoFlex Home is also able to stream movie, photo and music to devices on the same network and network connected DLNA devices. There is also USB port for adding external storage and sharing USB printer.
1TB and 2TB models are priced at $159 and $229 respectively.
