Korean company GamePark will release in August the new GP2X Caanoo portable gaming device. The new Caanoo is powered by the same 533MHz ARM9 processor used on GP2X Wiz, 128MB RAM, 2GB flash memory and dedicated 3D GPU. It comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen.
Other than playing open-source games and emulation games, the GP2X is also capable of media playback supporting mainstream media formats including DivX, XviD and MPEG4 video files. This gaming portable runs Linux and is equipped with vibration motor and G-sensor.
The GamePark GP2X Caanoo will be available in white and black.
