Netgear launches its new ReadyNAS Ultra series network storage and two models have been introduced, the Ultra4 and the Ultra6. These NAS devices are based on Atom processor and supports RAID 0/1/5/6 settings.
The ReadyNAS Ultra4 packs single-core CPU and 2x2TB capacity while the Ultra6 gets dual core processor and 3x2TB density. Netgear’s new devices do more than usual network storage offering capability to stream media to TiVo devices, DLNA-certified devices and even mobile devices using Orb technology.
The Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra4 and Ultra6 are priced at $900 and $1350 respectively.
