AT&T has the Captivate, Sprint has the QWERTY Epic 4G, T-Mobile is also getting is Galaxy S phone, the Samsung Vibrant, as previously rumored. As you can see above, the Vibrant’s design is the mixture of AT&T’s Captivate and Samsung’s own Galaxy S, getting the silver bezel and four touch-sensitive buttons.
Like other Galaxy S handsets, the Vibrant packs Samsung’s Hummingbird 1GHz processor, a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, 5 Megapixel camera with 720p video recording, WiFi, DLNA support and microSD card slot. It runs Android 2.1 OS with Swype keyboard, Samsung Media Hub and TouchWiz UI.
The Samsung Vibrant support T-Mobile’s HSPA network. It will be available beginning 21 July for $199, after rebate with contract.
