Following the MBF2600RC, Toshiba introduces the MBF2xxLRC series 2.5-inch SAS hard drive mounted in a 3.5-inch bracket that eases migration to small form factor enterprise-class drive for IT departments and enables the small form factor drives to be used in legacy 3.5-inch servers and storage enclosures.
Available in 300GB (MBF230LRC), 450GB (MBF245LRC) and 600GB (MBF260LRC) capacities, Toshiba’s new drive features 10025ROM rotational speed, up to 216MB/s transfer speed, SAS 2.0 6Gbs interface and 16MB buffer memory. Toshiba will begin shipping the MBF2xxLRC in July to OEMs.
