In addition to the duo of WM phones, Samsung also brings two new Android-based Galaxy smartphones, the Galaxy 3 i5800 and Galaxy 5 i5500. Two new Galaxy phones both run Android 2.1 with Samsung’s TouchWiz 3.0 UI.
The Samsung Galaxy 3 i5800, follow-up to the Spica i5700, features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera with auto focus, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. The entry-level Galaxy 5 i5500 (aka Corby i5500) sports a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi 802.11b/g.
The Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 both include A-GPS support and Samsung’s Social Hub, an integrated phonebook that links contacts from across social networks. The Galaxy 3 offers also DivX and XviD playback. They have 170MB internal memory and a microSD card slot. You can expect to see them on July 2010.
