AT&T officially announced the launch of the HTC Aria Androdi smartphone. The new Aria features a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with video recording, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and FM radio.
The HTC Aria is powered by Qualcomm’s MSM7227 600MHz processor, 512MB ROM and 384MB RAM and runs Android 2.1 OS with HTC Sense. The phone comes with an optical joystick, which can also be found on Desire, Wildfire and Legend. The compact smartphone also packs digital compass, G-sensor, proximity sensor and light sensor. It supports dual-band HSPA 850/1900 and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks.
AT&T will release the Aria on 20 June for for $129.99 after $100 mail-in rebate with 2-year contract.
