Motorola officially announced the FLIPOUT with MOTOBLUR Android smartphone that has a compact, square form factor. The FLIPOUT has a pivot design that opens to reveal a five-row QWERTY keyboard with a separate row for numeric keys.
The Motorola FLIPOUT runs Android 2.1 OS. It features a 2.8-inch 320×240 QVGA touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera with digital zoom and video recording, aGPS, eCompass and WiFi connectivity. It has 512MB internal memory and supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB (a 2GB card is included). It offers 3.5mm headset jack and USB 2.0 port.
The Motorola FLIPOUT will be released in Q2 2010. It comes in Raspberry and Saffron colors.
