Zoom announced the new H1 Handy Stereo Recorder that promises to offer professional stereo recording at an affordable price of $99. The H1 features two onboard microphone in an X/Y pattern, integrated reference speaker and does 24-bit/96 kHz stereo recordings. It offers the same frequency and SPL handling as popular Zoom H2.
The Zoom H1 records WAV 96kHz/48kHz/44.1kHz at 16-bit or 24-bit and MP3 from 48 to 320kbps for maximum recording time. It supports microSD up to 32GB and offers 1/8-inch external microphone input and stereo 1/8-inch line output. It is powered by one AA battery.
