Acer officially announced its latest Android phone, the Stream that is the successor to the Liquid and Liquid e. Powered by the 1GHz SnapDragon processor that can also be found on HTC Desire, Nexus One, HTC Evo..etc, the new smartphone has 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM.
The Acer Stream features a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p video recording, a 3.7-inch AMOLED multiouch-capable touchscreen and dedicated music buttons. The Stream supports GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi as well as FM radio, DLNA and UPnP and offers HDMI output. It can handle XviD and WMV HD playback. The device runs Android 2.1 with Acer’s custom UI and supports HSDPA 3.5G and quad-band GSM networks.
