HTC unveils its latest Android smartphone, the Wildfire with the HTC Sense UI. Personally, I think the HTC Wildfire combines the design of Google’s Nexus One and HTC Desire, getting the color scheme (the brown version) and touch-sensitive buttons of the former and the optical trackpad and UI of the latter.
The HTC Wildfire sports a 528MHz processor, 512MB ROM and 384MB RAM and runs Android 2.1 Eclair with HTC Sense. It features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus and flash, built-in GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The phone packs also G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
The HTC Wildfire will be released in Q3 2010 in Europe and Asia. It supports dual-band 900/2100 WCDMA/HSDPA 3G and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. Brown, red, black and white versions will be released.
