Osram Sylvania and Artison have teamed up to create the MusicLites, probably the world’s first wireless light speaker combo that combines LED light with speaker and wireless audio receiver.
The MusicLites packs a 10-watt LED light, a 70mm full range loudspeaker and a wireless audio receiver in one single canister. It fits into four-, five- or six-inch recessed cans, providing light output equivalent to a 65-watt reflector bulb. Audio signal is transmitted via a proprietary 2.4 GHz wireless transceiver and works with various audio sources, such as USB, smartphone, and portable audio devices. MusicLites will be released in Fall 2010.
