TomTom announced the new XL 350 and XXL 550 series portable GPS navigation devices. All models from both rnages feature the company’s new EasyMenu UI offering “sharp graphics and a simple touchscreen menu that provides quick access to search tools so that users can get started towards their destination even faster”.
The XL 350 series comes with 4.3-inch touchscreen while the XXL 550 has 5-inch touchscreen. They include the IQ Routes Technology for efficient routing, TomTom Map Share for community shared map improvements, over 7 million points of interest, advanced lane guidance and preloaded premium maps of the US/Canada/Mexico from Tele Atlas.
The XL 350M, XL 350TM, XXL 550M and XXL 550TM models will come with Lifetime Map Updates and the XL 350T, XL 350TM, XXL 550 T, XXL 550 TM gets Lifetime Traffic Updates. The XL 350 and XXL 550 start at $160 and will be released in late May.
