Samsung releases its 8 Gigabit OneNAND chip that utilizes the 30nm class process technology. The new 8Gb OneNAND is based on single-level-cell (SLC) NAND flash design offering 70MB/s read speed and 17MB/s write speed. It also has a a low-voltage design.
Samsung’s 30nm-class 8Gb OneNAND is now sampling with volume production scheduled by the end of this month.
