AMD announced its new next-generation ATI FirePro professional graphics family including the FirePro V7800, FirePro V5800, FirePro V4800, and FirePro V3800.
The top-of-the-line FirePro V7800 features 1440 stream processors, 2GB of DDR5 memory while the the mid-range FirePro V5800 gets 800 stream processors and 1GB of memory. Both of them sport the ATI Eyefinity technology for driving up to three independent 30-inch display at one time, using two DisplayPort and a Dual-Link DVI ports.
The FirePro V4800 and V3800 are entry-level professional graphics cards. They have 400 stream processors and 1GB and 512MB GDDR5 memory respectively. Eyefinity technology is also included.
