Japanese company Digital Cowboy adds to its Movie Cowboy line the new DC-MCNAS1 network attached storage server (NAS). The device has two 3.5-inch SATA hard drive bays with support for RAID 1 mirroring and JBOD support.
The DC-MCNAS1 has a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port and two USB ports for connecting external storage. It supports FTP, SMB, NFS and can be used as a printer server and iTunes Music server. BitTorrent functions are also included. Also comes with the DC-MCNAS1 NAS server is the free Dynamic DNS service.
The Movie Cowboy DC-MCNAS1 has 128MB RAM and 4MB flash memory. It will be released on 29 April for about 16,900 Yen.
