T-Mobile is launching the Garminfone, which is basically identical to the nuvifone A50 by Garmin-Asus. Running the Android OS, the Garminfone comes fully integrated with Garmin’s navigation experience. It offers voice and on-screen directions, automatic re-routing, text-to-speech technology for speakering street names, and is pre-loaded with North American maps.
The Garminfone has a 3.5-inch touchscreen and a 3 Megapixel camera with auto foucs and geotagging gunction. It supports T-Mobile’s 3G network and WiFi connectivity.
